Beth is survived by her husband Gary Abernathy, son Eric Abernathy (Sara and grandson Ethan) of San Marcos, CA, daughter Kelly Halpain (Mark) of Greeley, brother Brad Slife (Paula) of Alabama, sister Brenda Nelson (Mike) of Eaton, along with family spread throughout the United States.
Beth worked for State Farm Insurance Company for 20+ years. She had volunteered for the Special Olympics, was a member of the Evans City Chambers and the Greeley West Band busters, a typist for the Greeley Coin Club and was also part of the Evans VFW for many years.
She was a devoted wife for 47 years and a wonderful mother for 46 years.
No public services are planned at this time per Beth’s wishes.
