To Betty’s Family, My name is Kathy Large and I live in South Bend IN. I was a member of the Embroiderer’s Guild of America and through that group I met Betty. She was a fabulous needlewoman and did exceptionally beautiful work, especially crewel wool embroidery. Betty was always a lady, her hair beautifully coiffed and she was well-dressed. Nothing over the top, just very tasteful. She had a wonderful spirit and will always be part of my memories of that group.
