Betty June Kline, 83 was born on April 13, 1935 in Scipio, OK. She lived her whole life for July 16, 2018 and it was the best day because she went to heaven. Her prayers were answered and she now walks with God. She passed away peacefully in her sleep, comfortable, no more pain or worries.
Betty moved to Colorado in the early 1950's and she met her husband, Robert Kline, Sr. in Palisade, CO. They married and had three sons, Robert Jr., Richard and Rex. Betty was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, awesome mother in law and a friend to many.
In 1963 she moved to a small farm outside of LaSalle, CO where she raised her family. Betty loved to garden and she also loved to cook and bake. She was well known for her homemade pies. She passed the love of cooking on to all 3 of her sons.
Along with two of her sons, Richard and Rex, Betty owned and operated a successful business, Slim's Sanitation Inc. in northeastern Colorado for 30 years. This was in addition to a Rotor Rooter franchise. To this day her two sons continue to be involved in the industry.
In her spare time for the past 19 years, Betty crocheted approximately 10 -12 baby blankets a month. Most of which she donated to the Pregnancy Center, in Greeley. She was an avid Broncos fan and enjoyed wearing her jersey and painting her fingernails orange and blue to cheer her team on.
Preceeding her in death were her parents, Grace and Floyd Adams. Robert Kline, Sr., one sister, Katherine and two brothers, Ray Lee and Benny. She is survived by her three sons, Robert Jr. (Kally) Kline, Richard Kline and Rex (Teresa) Kline. Five brothers, Lewis, Thomas, Jerry, Larry and Alvin. One sister, Kay, 8 grandkids and 13 great grandkids.
A private memorial service was held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley on July 20, 2018. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Pathways Hospice who helped make Betty's transition a peaceful one.
