Blayd Matthew Fox

Blayd Matthew Fox, a kind-hearted young man, passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 23. Born on April 24, 2002, in Greeley, Colorado, Blayd was a resident of Eaton, Colorado. He was the cherished son of Matt and Amy (Brehon) Fox, who were married on May 15, 1999.

Blayd graduated from Platte Valley High School in 2020 and went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Auto Mechanics from Aims Community College. He was employed at Fox Motors LLC and Diamond Livestock, where he worked alongside his father since they started Fox Motors in 2023. Blayd took great pride in building the business and was passionate about his work.

Blayd lived life with an adventurous and fearless spirit. He found joy in the outdoors, spending time boating, dirt biking, camping, and elk hunting alongside his father. He had a deep love for loud cars and music, taking pride in his 2004 Nissan 350Z. Blayd was an animal lover at heart, especially devoted to his beloved dog, Tate, and he cherished working on the farm, where he happily cared for baby pigs and cattle. Drawn to excitement and new experiences, he embraced life’s thrills—driving fast, wakeboarding, cliff jumping, and swimming in the ocean—always seeking the next adventure.

Blayd was excited about becoming an uncle in June and looked forward to the adventures that awaited him and his future nephew. He had a big heart for the people he loved and would do anything for them.

As an act of selflessness Blayd donated his body to Donor Alliance.

He is survived by his parents, Matt and Amy Fox of Eaton, Colorado; his sister Bailie Fox and her fiancé Isaiah Juanicorena of Greeley; his grandmother Mary Fox of Kersey, Colorado; his grandmother Kathy Brehon of Eaton; and his great-grandmother Shirley Schmunk of Greeley. He is also survived by his aunt Ronda Sheldon of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and his aunt Melissa Achziger and her husband Greg Achziger. Blayd was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Fox and Stanley Brehon, both of Kersey, and his beloved dog, Tate.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 9:30 am at Kersey Community Church, located at 26221 Co Rd 53, Kersey, CO 80644. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 W 28th St, Greeley, CO 80634, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. Reception to follow at Neon Moon Arena, 24138 County Road 38, La Salle, CO 80645.
