Bob S. Glim, 63, of Greeley, passed away September 5, 2014 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born August 17, 1951 to Theodore Edgar and Helen (Street) Glim in Denver, CO. He married Melody Jacoby, May 2, 1987, in Las Vegas, NV.
Bob graduated from South High School in Denver in 1969. He moved to Greeley in 1976 and has been a resident since that time.
Bob worked for multiple bearing businesses for 45 years but found a home at Rocky Mountain Supply for the last 27 years.
Family and friends always came first with Bob, then his customers which he always tried to please. He had a special place in his heart for the farmers. He loved old cars, especially his 1970 Camaro. He had his eye on 1949 Mercury. He was a “low tech man in a high tech world”. He hated computers and cell phones.
He is survived by his wife Melody Glim; Step-mother, Grayce Glim; son Brian Glim, Greeley; daughters, Crystal Glim, Denver, Lacey (Tom) Weinmeister, Greeley, and Angel (Jim) Wedin, South Dakota; brother, John Stokes, Iowa; sisters, Nicki Tomaino, Aurora, Gabriel Glim, Washington, and Pam Rains, Washington; grandchildren, Spencer, Ryan and Gavin, South Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his mother Helen and father, Ted.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014, at the Allnutt Macy Chapel with a reception to follow in the Allnutt Reception Center. Inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens to be held at a later date.
