Bobetta, “Bobbie” Ann Kime of Johnstown, CO, passed away December 7, 2018 in Loveland, CO. She was born on July 29, 1941 to Gust and Alma (Ottoson) Holmes in Greeley. She married Tommy Kime on June 27, 1964 in Greeley.
Bobbie graduated from College High School in 1959 and later attended Beauty School in Greeley. She was a hairdresser for over 35 years, working at Jacks Salon and later opening her own salon, “The Bobbie Pin”.
She was a member of Johnstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and volunteered her time planting flowers at a greenhouse called “Flowers for 3”, reading and loved Christmas, making plates of Christmas cookies of many varieties and delivering them all over to people. She was known for baking her special Christmas cookies and Angel food cake. Her daughters remember their mom always making five course meals every night for dinner.
She loved her grandchildren, always watching and attending her grandchildren’s sports games and school events.
Bobbie is survived by her daughters, Lisa Bricker, Amy Horner; sisters, Bonnie Eckhardt, Darlene Meyer and Charlene Nordell; brother, Doug Holmes; grandchildren, Tyler Bricker, Hannah Kusmik, Ryan and TJ Horner.
She is preceded in death by husband, Tommy Kime, sister, Beverly Schaefer and Louise Keirnes, brothers, Bill and Milton Holmes.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, December, 12, 2018 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel.
Graveside service will be at 11:15 A.M Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Service at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Johnstown United Methodist Church.
