Brad attended Greeley Central High School, where he excelled in both baseball and basketball. In 1993, he married his former wife, Katy Mossberg and soon after had his kids Micheal and Molly. Brad lived his life as a genuine, caring man who was deeply devoted to his children and their future. He spent his working life on his family’s dairy farm, dedicating many years to honest, steady work until his retirement. Brad had a special love for his dogs. When you saw him anywhere, chances are you saw him with his Border Collie. He took his dog everywhere! In recent years, you’d see him and his dog, Blue, finding the best deals at Sam’s club or attending the Real Church, a place that helped him strengthen his faith and find community.
Brad always had a joke to tell and a deep laugh that would fill a room. His heart was enormous, and his generosity was often quiet but far-reaching. He was genuine, unique, and deeply authentic. There is no replacing him and no forgetting the mark he left on those who knew and loved him.
Brad is survived by his son Micheal Mossberg (Nicole) and their daughters Avery and Laura; daughter, Molly Mossberg (Andrew) and their daughter Addalyn; sister, Tamora George; and brother, Randy Mossberg. Brad was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pamela Seccombe.
Memorial service to celebrate Brad’s life is scheduled for 11:00AM on Saturday June 27th at Allnutt Macy Chapel, 6521 W 20th St, Greeley, CO 80634.
