Oh Brendan Boy, our hearts are broken. GG and Papa Cactus were so excited to see you and the rest of your family on this trip to Colorado because it h been almost 3 years since we were able to hug you BUT circumstances did not allow it to happen. Only God knows why !! You will FOREVER in our hearts !!

Brenden was such a conscientious and intelligent student. He was always on top of his work and reached out if he needed something. I appreciated that he was with a few kids who helped clean out the bandroom for my retirement. We had a lot of fun throwing frisbees inside the room, climbing on lockers, and going through old instruments. He was amused with how many old bassoons we had stored under the risers! We had a lot of laughs during those last few days of school this year and I’m so grateful I got to know him better during this time. His friends loved him and he was such a positive force in this world.

I will forever remember your sweet baby smile when you first joined our family! You were so shy and timid - and you wouldn’t go anywhere without your Sissy! I will forever remember how you loved your Mohawk haircut and how it drove Papa E crazy! I will forever remember how you and Landen would wrestle each other or play cops and robbers together! I will forever remember your eagerness to make Mommy and Daddy happy and proud. I will forever remember the kindness in your heart. I am so proud to have been your Hunny 💋☘️☘️

Brendan was an amazing student in Technology and Design. He was a huge part of developing the design for our greenhouse for students with special needs at Brentwood. Such a bright, caring, creative and kind young man. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing. Brendan, you will be truly missed by all of us who knew and cared about you here at Brentwood.
