I was very saddened when I learned that Brian passed away.  I remember him well when he worked at our radar facility at CSU.  He took great pride in his work.  He was a kind and caring person that enriched the lives of those that knew him.  Rest in peace Brian.  You will be missed.

We honor the memory of Brian Jesse, a good friend of our son, Brian Koontz.  We enjoyed the time he visited with us at our home in Pennsylvania and were proud to have him serve at our son's wedding.  Brian impressed us with his keen wit, dry humor and we particularly enjoyed his affectionate stories of his large family.

Tom just called to tell me about Brian.  I am sorry I cannot be there in person tomorrow but I will be definately be there in spirit.

Brian was a truly unique & special man. A great friend who will be immensely missed & remain in our hearts forever.

I was very sad to hear of Brian's passing. I want to tell you that Brian made a big difference in my life. A positive and lasting difference. I saw and experienced Brian's struggles in life. As his supervisor for most of his 20 years at CSU, I tried my best to work with him to advance his career and help him through the hard times. Nevertheless, what I most remember is simply that he was a nice person, a friend. 

When others working around me abandoned me in the middle of my advanced studies at CSU, Brian was loyally there providing the technical expertise (and no small amount of humor) without which I could never have completed my PhD and launched a career that has allowed me to prosper. Brian met many scientists during his career, sometimes on high stress deployments to far away places. Uniformly, everyone would comment to me on what a nice and helpful person Brian was, as well about his incredible knowledge of electronics and instrumentation. I know that he gained much of that knowledge on his own. He would just figure things out, unique solutions. He was a bright guy. And people cared about him. That's what I want you to know.

Growing up with all the Jesse boys created friendships that are everlasting and memories that can never be forgotten. The loss of Brian brings sadness to us all. We can take comfort however, in knowing that even though his life journey here has ended, he has now embarked on a new journey with eternal peace. Our family's prayers and thoughts go out to all those that knew Brian in hope that they  too will find peace.
