It's a pleasure to have known Mr. Carlos Herrera or ""Don Carlos"" as everyone called him. My mom told me it was because of him that we ended up here in Colorado. My mom said she traveled here with his family before she was married in the late 1940s.Then she got married and asked my dad to move here in Colorado. Also my mom said he is the Godfather of one of my brothers. We used to play at his farm home when we were kids too and with his young kids.He was a great man,father and husband as I've known him for many years but didn't see him that often.When I did see him last in 2008 he couln't remember me anymore,sad.RIP,Don Carlos.Sorry about your loss to all his family and relatives.

I consider it a great privilege to have known don Carlos and your family. Many fond memories of playing at the farm or other gatherings. May the peace of our Lord comfort you.

To the Herrera Family, I would like to say how sorry I feel for your loss. I have many memories of your Father. especially, when we picked green beans, back in the fifties, when he would assign the rows to each family. May God bless you all.

I am really sorry to hear about your Dad's death overnight.  I had never seen your dad personally, but to me he seemed to be a nice person in your family.  I can understand that this will a huge loss for your family.  Nobody can forget moments spent with their family, especially with mom and dad.  I will pray to God to give a peace to his soul.
