Catalina Delgado Gonzalez

Catalina Delgado Gonzalez, 84, of Fort Morgan, died Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Wiggins. She was born March 15, 1935 in La Yesca, Nayarit, Mexico to Isabel Delgado Sandoval and Maria de Jesus Banuelos Toribio.
Catalina grew up in San Juan Ixtapalapa, Mexico. After her education, she worked and later got married to Luis Gonzalez Cisneros in 1953 and started her family. Catalina was raised in the Catholic faith and attended St. Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan.
Catalina loved to cook, her favorite being her pork red chile. She also enjoyed knitting and reading. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Catalina is survived by her daughters, Maria Gonzalez of Lemon Grove, California, Azucena Gonzalez of El Pinal, Mexico, Madejesus Gonzalez Delgado of El Trapiche, Mexico, Celestina Hernandez of Nuevo, California and Raquel Escalante of Wiggins; sons, Rafael Gonzalez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Anselmo Gonzalez of Riverside, California, Reyes Gonzalez of Roy, Utah, Jose Gonzalez of Fort Morgan, Luis Gonzalez of El Pinal, Mexico, Roberto Gonzalez of Atlanta, Georgia, Isabel Gonzalez of Fort Morgan, Domingo Gonzalez of Fort Morgan and Israel Gonzalez of Sterling; one sister; two brothers; 34 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley. Service and interment at a later date in El Trapiche, Nayarit, Mexico.
