I'm very sorry to read about Chad's passing.  Chad and I were friends at Hobbs Elementary.  I remember always feeling welcome in his home, after school and during summer breaks.  He loved showing off his dad's gun collection (including an old hand grenade!), and he always let me sneak a peak at his dad's very cool HO scale train layout in the basement, which I seriously coveted.  I'm happy to know Chad left such a loving legacy, that he made a truly positive difference in the lives of those he touched.  My condolences to his family and friends.  ~ A.J. Smith

I was so saddened to hear the news about Chad.  As one of his Woodward Academy instructors, I was privileged to be able to be able to work with Chad during his two years in the program.  He was a delightful, mature, and hard working student, and I knew he would be successful not only in the program, but far beyond that as well.  I remember meeting his family and the wonderful support they provided Chad during that new chapter in his life.  He will always be remembered, and you will be in my prayers for continued strength and comfort during this time of loss and grieving.  May his legacy and dreams continue to live in your lives and those he touched.

Lit a candle in memory of Chad Garret Larson

Chad took this Iowa boy on his very first Elk hunt and we ended up getting stuck in snow. I remember thinking"" I didn't prepare myself to spend the night here... A short time later, Chad had the chains on truck and we were heading back out the way we came. I was pretty impressed. There were also cold mornings with Larry Sheets, Chad and myself laying in goose blinds, blowing calls until we turned blue in the face and finally eating burrito's while watching distant birds fly around.
Our hearts are heavy and with Cindy,Ashley, Colton,Nick and Zack during your time of loss.

My son and I shared with Chad many a cold morning just waiting for the distant  sound of birds in the air. Chad was  always cheerful and helpful and one could just tell he was  working on his  relationship with God. Kind and considerate and will be missed by ALL.

I met Chad in 2004 at Woodward.  He was always kind, loved telling me about his family, and was fun to be around.  He had a great heart and soul and I will miss him.  God Bless your family and I too believe Chad is watching over you.  He is missed.
