Dr. Barney was my student advisor in the CSU Forestry Dept.   

Without his personal effort to schedule and instruct me in a "special studies" course in Aerial Photo Interp., following the Spring 1971 quarter, I would not have completed my graduation requirements prior to reporting for active duty in the US Army.  

I have always appreciated his guidance and effort to help my complete my BS in Forest Science before reporting for duty.

I was thinking about you this afternoon and trust that you were comforted by the love of friends and family around you today.Your dad was an amazing man as I was reminded by reading about him on this site.
