Charlotte Jean Clark passed away at the age of 91 on Wednesday January 4, 2023 in Yuma, Arizona. She was born May 1, 1931 to Ernest Morrison and Hazel Etura Morrison in Greeley, Colorado. After the loss of her parents, Charlotte became a resident of Tipton Orphans Home in Tipton Oklahoma for several years before returning to Greeley in 1945 to attend school at College High.
On July 8, 1950 Charlotte married Byers Clayton Clark and moved to a farm northeast of Greeley and lived there until 2000 when they retired and relocated to Yuma Arizona. They were married for 69 years.
Charlotte was a wonderful gardener and homemaker and loved cooking for family and friends, she was a teacher for World Bible School, and she dedicated many years to genealogy research. As an orphan, she learned to crochet and became very skilled and continued crocheting through most of her life. Charlotte was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and taught Sunday School for many years.
Charlotte is survived by four children, Ken (Kris) Clark of Eaton, Colorado Jim Clark (Janda) of Bonham, Texas, Colleen Nealy (Steven) of Eaton, Colorado and Chuck (Vickie) of Yuma, Arizona, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Byers Clayton Clark, parents Ernest and Hazel Morrison, and sister Ernestine Morrison and one grandchild Travis Winton Clark.
