Charlotte J. Strandberg of Greeley died January 29, 2019 at Grace Pointe in Greeley, Colorado.

She was born August 16, 1921 in Milliken to Charles and Rosa (Sauter) Stroh. She attended school in Milliken and moved to Greeley where she graduated from Greeley High School in 1939. On July 3, 1941, she married Carl Warren Strandberg in Sidney, Nebraska.

From 1942 to 1946, she lived in Long Beach, California. She worked in the timekeeping office at Roosevelt Naval Base on Terminal Island. Then, she returned to Greeley when her husband arrived from overseas and she had resided in Greeley ever since.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting with her friends. She liked to grow hybrid roses and irises.

Survivors are her son, Steven W. Strandberg and wife Carol of Westminster, one daughter, Susan J. Kammerzell and husband Arnold of Wiggins, one grandson, Jeff Kammerzell and wife Amy, and 3 great-grandchildren, June, Hazel and Henry Kammerzell, all of Parker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Warren, in October, 2000. Her sisters, Lillian Stroh, Eileen Stroh, and Gloria Paul, and her brothers, Leonard Stroh and Harold Stroh, and two infant sisters, also preceded her in death.

Private family graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greeley.

Susan and Arnold: So sorry to hear that your mother passed away. Whenever I would see her in Greeley she would always make a point to come over and talk to me. She talked fondly of my parents and grandparents. She is at peace.
