Cindy Hoff, 66, of Barnesville, CO, passed away at North Colorado Medical Center on February 15, 2014. She was born January 8, 1948 in Denver, CO. Cindy was adopted by Lawrence and Lillian Clark of Greeley, CO. After Lawrence’s death in 1952, Lillian married Jackson B. Wells in 1954 and he adopted Cindy. She was raised in Barnesville. She married Kevin Hoff March 18, 1989.

Cindy graduated from Ft. Collins High School in 1966. She grew up farming and farmed with her husband for 25 years. She worked for Scien-Turfic-Sod Farms for the past 15 years.

Cindy’s first priority was her family; she was an advocate against Domestic Violence, enjoyed gardening, had a passion for rescuing animals, was a seamstress, embroiderer, enjoyed baking, and was a unique interior decorator; she loved hiking in the mountains. Cindy was a very compassionate person.

She is survived by her husband Kevin Hoff, Barnesville, CO; children Brad (Kim) Winters, Barnesville, CO; Tracey Winters (Jeannine Arnold) Topeka, KS; Carrie Meyer, Greeley, CO; and J.J. Winters, Overton, NE; brother Steve (Terri) Wells, Barnesville, CO; grandchildren Andrew (Erin) Winters, Nicole Winters, T.J. Vanlandingham, Haley Meyer and Triston Winters; as well as 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Paul’s Congregational Church. Reception to follow at the church.
