Claudia Mae Elliott

Claudia Mae Elliott of Eaton went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 29, 2011. She was born on January 6, 1939 to Forrest Cleo and Margaret (Navratil) Kratzer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Claudia was reared and educated in Denver graduating from South High School. As a young lady she was a member of Key Club, Ski Club, Drama Club and Rainbow Girls. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

On August 2, 1959, she married Robert L. Elliott. He died on December 17, 1999. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, she was generous, and always put others before herself.

Claudia will be deeply missed by her daughters Kelley Elliott of Greeley, Kelley’s children, Leshay Gehrke, Avery Brown and Chealsea Greer and her grandchildren, Adrienne Gehrke and Aiden Brown, Sherry Lawley (Mark) of Eaton, Sherry’s children, Sarah Bowman, Joshua Lawley and Koedi Lawley; son Mark Elliott of Seattle, Washington, Mark’s children, Jacquelyn Elliott (Danny Weston) and Marek Elliott and grandson, Waylon Weston; and Donald’s family, wife, Heidi Elliott, children, Meagan Elliott and Trista Hawks and granddaughter, Calona Hawks; and a brother, Lee Kratzer (Susie) She was preceded in death by a son Donald Lee Elliott and 2 brothers, Jack Kratzer and her twin, Claude Kratzer.

Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ft. Logan National Cemetery,
