What a great time we had back in the summer of '99.  Wish my dad Lloyd could have made it out there to visit, he always wanted to but never got the chance.

As a child growing up on my Dad's and Grandpa Lynch's ranch, I remember lots of times when we worked cattle together and dinners at the little school house.  I also remember going Trick-or-Treating at the neighbors houses out on prairie.  I have always enjoyed receiving Christmas cards from you over the years - especially when I moved away from home and still got to keep in touch thru the exchange of them. 
Dad told a story of working cattle one day and Clyde was sitting in his chair next to the chute with the hot shot.  The calves would be moving a bit too slow for him I guess so he would give them a jolt with that and cause my dad to have to react a bit quicker to catch their heads in the head catch of the chute.  Dad looked back once to see what was causing the calves to speed up at the last minute, and there was Clyde with a twinkle in his eye - keeping my dad on his toes.
Thanks for the memories.  I will certainly continue to keep in touch as much as possible.

It sounds strange to us eastern Diehls to hear of breaking horses.  Clyde must have been quite a man and a great friend of the earth.  We mourn with you.

Dear Family,
I am sadden to hear of Uncle Clyde passing. However, we do know that he is with our Dear Savior Christ Jesus and what rejoicing there is in heaven. I remember when Dad and Uncle Clyde had matching shirts and I got them mixed up. I loved looking at is arrow heads and rock collections and thought how can an ungly rock look so pretty.
