Concepcion Mendoza-Salazar of Greeley went to be with our Lord on Monday, May 30, 2011. He was born December 8, 1924 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Anselmo Mendoza and Cruz Salazar.
Concepcion worked in construction for many years. He was known as “Connie” during the many years he worked for Giest Brothers Custom Homes and KBM Construction. He was a loving, caring and compassionate man and above all very honest.
He is survived by Felisha (Ismael) Serrato, Ruben Mendoza, Jesse (Linda) Mendoza, Rosie (Robert) Aguilar, Raquel (Benny) Alvarado, and Jose (Margaret) Mendoza, also by his extended family Cynthia Valenzuela, Diane Soto, Joe, Sonny and Art Flores, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Juana Mendoza; second wife, Amalia Mendoza and sons, Art and Russell Mendoza.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
