David Brunner was born with a smile on his face on May 7, 1964 and left this earth with a smile on his face on March 19, 2022. Despite many neurological health problems, David was able to accomplish a great many things. In high school he was the Greeley Central basketball team manager and in college he was a referee for the Colorado State University intramural basketball league. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in business. While attending the university he lived in the ATO fraternity house where he served as Fraternity Treasurer. After college he remained very busy with his stock investments and enjoyed playing chess both at the Greeley Senior Center and online. Had his body been willing, he could have been a champion on the gameshow Jeopardy as he always knew all of the answers. David was so loved by many including family, friends and caregivers. A special thanks to caregivers Kim Andersen and Karen Litfin as well as healthcare workers from Amada.
David is survived by his mother, Nancy Brunner, his sister, Tracy Dooley and brother-in-law John Dooley as well his niece Megan Frabasilio (Nick Frabasilio) and nephew Kevin Dooley, his uncle and aunt, Ron and Marge Brunner, and their children John Brunner (Rebecca Brunner) and Ann Kullby (Kirk Kullby).
He was preceded in death on November 30, 2020, by his father, Bob Brunner.
