

Phyllis Rae Miller, 88, of Evans, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Centennial Health Care Center in Greeley. Phyllis was born on July 9, 1925 in North Brookfield, Massachusetts to Faye and Florence (Dowd) King.
Phyllis was raised and educated in North Brookfield. She worked in retail clothing sales for a number of years. On December 4, 1942, she married Cyril Channin at the Congregational Church. They later divorced. She then married Everett Miller.
Phyllis visited her family in Colorado since 1976 and moved to the Greeley/Evans area in August 1999. She was very talented with cake decorating and crafts. She shared and taught her grandchildren her love of crafts. She loved her family and will be remembered for being a lovely, sweet lady.
Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Beverly A. Lawrence (Leo) of Barre, Massachusetts and Carol L. Ruth (Ray) of Greeley; two sons, David C. Channin (Micki) of Evans and James Bryan (Cheryl) of Grafton, Massachusetts; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her oldest daughter, Marilyn Tenney, a step-son, T.J. Miller and her twin, Phillip King.
A Celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held at a later date.
