Nancy and I were deeply saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I went to school in Columbiana with Dave, and spent many great days on the farm with Dave, Paul, and his parents. Dave was a true friend, he always wore a smile. Dave and I played on the Clipper football team together, he was a star halfback on the team. Our condolences to the entire family, you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathy to the Morris family. We are friends from Columbiana. I was two years younger than Dave in school, but knew him well. He was so kind, generous, and caring. My dad was his basketball coach and was so very upset to hear of his passing. Sending our love and prayers to the Morris family...

To the Morris family: Your Husband and Father, and Brother to Paul, was also a great classmate. We sat near each other all through our Ohio State careers, and I was honored to be on several teams (of students) with him. I'm a city boy, and Dave helped me so much to gain some needed confidence around horses and cattle. He was kind, patient, and generous with his knowledge and great smile. I am saddened by this news. We have lost a excellent colleague.

Mrs. Lizabeth Morris, Paul, Lynn and Family, You have our deepest sympathy in the passing of Dave. We read our local paper and saw the notice , and were deeply saddened. Ann and I went to school with Dave and I played sports with him, and had many great visits to the farm. He was one of the nicest , smartest, and hardest working young men I've known. I haven't seen Dave since he left Columbiana, and always wished we had stayed in touch, but I know that out west is where he should be. When I read the article, written by his daughter, I new we had missed being with a special person and friend, that had touched so many lives, and still had such great family values. You should be very proud of him,and I know you'll always have such great memories.

I was very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I was a classmate of Dave at Ohio State and I remember him as friendly, hardworking, very smart, and always a ""professional"". Dave was also a really good guy - friendly & helpful - just a terrific classmate. Although I haven't seen him in decades, I was aware of (and not surprised) by his professional and personal accomplishments. Please accept my sincere condolences. Yours truly, John Bonagura, DVM.

Dave was a true friend and mentor. I was honored to know him and I can only offer a prayer for your loss. Two weeks ago he was able to meet my father at a meeting for the tribes in NM an AZ. My father was very impressed with Dave and he sends you his best wishes. This world will not be the same without Dave. May the Lord bless and protect your family.

To Lynne, Brandon, and Bethany... It was with great sadness I learned of David's death. I am thankful my sons met him and you at your home in Ft. Collins on July 4th, 1994. Dave and I were quite close during the Ohio State years. He was truly one of the most honorable people on the face of the earth. I pray that God will quickly replace your profound grief with only the wonderful memories of of your loving husband and father.

Dear Lynn, Brandon and Bethany. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt sympathies in the loss of one of the greatest men i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. David was extremely kind, a great teacher and a wonderful friend to me during my veterinary school days. I know I have become a better man, veterinarian and father because of him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

To Dr. Dave's family, Sincere condolences.  Dr. Dave will be missed terribly by those of us who work with Animal Disease Traceability.  In the five-plus years that I have known him and worked with him, he was always a patient teacher and gracious listener.  He had the best interest of the livestock industry at heart and his passion for it was often evident.  He was honest and fair, and I will personally miss our visits. My deepest, sincerest sympathies.  I worked with David at USDA.  He was passionate about his work, loyal, dedicated and compassionate professional.  His love of his family and devotion was an example to be followed.  I will always treasure our conversations and love of animals.  He was not just a co-worker but he was my friend and I will miss him so. He spoke of his family so often and with so much love we all felt we knew all of you.  May Creator bless and keep you.
