Mary: I was a classmate of David in Williamson Central School.  I live at 2030 New Hampshire in Loveland. We will return to CO in late June from Korea.  Let me know if you want a visit with my wife and me.

I did not think I was going to lose you so soon.  As a child I thought I would have you for as long as I needed you.  You left much to soon, I still need you.  The void in my heart is vast and the pain is indescribable.  Till I see you again, know that I love you and will always miss you!

Happy, go lucky David Plyter.  That's how I remember him.  Always similing and enjoying life!  There has not been a year that has passed since I last saw him that I did not think of him on his birthday.  It was the day after mine!  My thoughts are with all of you.

I also graduated with David in the Class of 1956 from Williamson Central School and remember David as able to get things done with good humor. With everything that has happened between you and I, one thing remains constant you were always waiting for me with open arms and an open loving heart, I was too stubborn to come back to you sooner, I wanted you to know that I LOVE YOU Dad.

I was SO SORRY to hear of Dave's passing, he was a very good man and will always hold a special place in my heart! I know that he will be missed by many.My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, that He will comfort your hearts and give you strength and peace. I am so sorry that I didn't know about it until after the funeral---I would very much have liked to be there. I would especially enjoy hearing from Phil, Scott, Sally or Patrick, if you wouldn't mind. My thoughts have been with you and your Dad much these past years.

Going back through time I remember the times when David would come in to the Red Ram after a night of bowling and order his usual, coke with a cherry.  I never had seen anyone have such a good time on coke.  The more he drank the funnier he got.  I threatened to cut him off for fear he would have too much fun driving.  We've shared some wonderful times together and they will always be in our heart.  May God be with you at this time through His tender love and devine understanding.  May God grant you the comfort He alone can give.

Plyter family,Most of you know what Pa was to me...my second dad.If I Had problems in my life, he was always there to listen and give advise.He was my hunting buddy and friend.He will be sadly missed and always remembered.29 years was too short to know such a great guy!!!!

In the few visits I was able to have with Uncle David, I remember his sense of humor most of all.  
My dad loved and respected him and through that I too appreciated him.  My sympathies are with those that were closest too him.  I wish that all your hearts mend quickly by the pleasant memories of your husband, father and grandfather.

I am so sad to hear that this wonderful man has passed away.  I will always remember him when he was a single father to Sally and Patrick - he was such an awesome dad.  He took us so many places - bowling alley, dog track, up to their land.....I'm so shocked and sad.  I mourn for my wonderful & beautiful friend, Sally.  I love you!!!!! and I loved your father!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave was such a great guy. He was always there to talk about anything and everything, and his stories always kept me searching for more. I know family and friends were his pride and joy. His eyes always lit up when he talked about taking his grandkids fishing. He will be dearly missed, but will always be in our hearts.

David always had a piece of advice for me. Anytime I needed to talk about something I would consult him for his opinion. I will miss our talks and work breaks that we shared every day we worked together. David will be missed dearly by all that knew him. If I had to guess I would say he is on a Turkey hunt right now and is covered up in birds.

Dave (Pa),  I will be visiting Pa's rock soon, see you there.  Your memory will be strong when I step quietly in the woods or wet a line, I will carry that with me and smile.  You always treated me with dignity and kindness. Thank You.

Words can not express how sorry I am.  Everyone knows that Dave was a great guy.  My mind has been filled with memories of not only him, but of your whole family.  Dave was my bowling coach, my flat tire fixer, and my fireman (even though when he tried to blow out the fire, his teeth fell out!)  You took me into your family as if I were one of you, and you will never know what an impact you have had on my life.  I miss you all and love you lots.

To my Aunt Mary,& my cousins, Phillip, Scott, Sally, Patrick, Dan,& Stacey. If thoughts were visits, I would have seen you every week.I loved Uncle David very much. The last time that I saw him was in the early 90's when I was greatly privallaged to spend a lot of 1 on 1 time with him. Sally, I still remember, as children, going to Brewer's store to buy candy @ the camp where Grandma,& Grandpa Plyter, & your Mom'& Dad had there campers. So much time has passed since then. I can't believe that I was only 6 when you all moved to CO.
we'll be praying extra hard for God's grace, & love, to be given in abuntant measure in the days to follow. I love and miss you all so much.
