Devon graduated from University High School in 1998, where he excelled as an athlete. He attended The Gemological Institute of America, graduating with Graduate Gemologist and CAD/CAM degrees, while playing a vital role in the design of GIA's CAD/CAM programs.
Devon enjoyed restoring and racing cars, boating, playing video games online, and participating in baseball. He possessed exceptional talent as both an artist and jewelry designer. Notably, Devon was the first American to win an international watch design competition representing GIA. Those who knew him would only describe him as talented and unique with a big heart.
Devon volunteered over the years with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Weld County in many ways, most notably as their Bingo caller. Devon additionally volunteered with the Weld County Food Bank gleaning fields.
Devon is survived by his mother and father, Bunny and Richard C. Nolan II of Greeley; brother, Morgan Nolan of Greeley, honorary brother, Michael Keil of Greeley, his many adored pets, and the many people who he loved and considered part of his extended family.
A Celebration of Devon’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
