Born on July 10th, 1948 to Elmer and Orlene Croissant in Greeley, Colorado, Diana grew up in LaSalle, Colorado where she ultimately graduated as valedictorian during her senior year. Diana had many passions in her life both in her childhood as well as adulthood. Perhaps her most widely known characteristic was her love for all animals, large and small. Diana always wanted to be with dogs and cats, and would often be a convenient savior to those unwanted by her friends, family or other acquaintances. Additionally, she also had a strong interest in academics. She had a master’s degree in English, and taught English in many high schools, and colleges throughout her life. She also had significant interest in other topics such as history, literature, religion and mythology. If one were to spend any amount of time with her, they can tell you that her passion was teaching and cared deeply about educational policy.
Diana Lynn Croissant was a devoted mother, survived by her two sons, Derek Roth and Garrett Brown, her grand children Justin and Jason Roth, and Ripley and Lennon Brown. Diana is also survived by her three siblings Bruce Croissant, Deenie Marsh, and Gayle Madden. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral Service will be held on July 10th, 2026 at Allnutt Funeral Service, Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, at 11:00 a.m.
