

Domingo “Kido” Rios, Jr. died Sunday, April 5, 2011 at his home in Greeley. He was born August 23, 1955 in Denver, Colorado to Domingo Rios, Sr. and Erminia (Rodriguez) Rios. He was raised in Denver and later his family moved to Greeley.
Kido was a master carpenter, working for Century Housing, All-American Kanbuild and Barvista Homes. On October 28, 1972 he married Ester Flores at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, where they attended church.
Kido was a loving and caring person to all he met. He was a very loving husband. He was the best father and grandfather any one could ever ask for. Kido was a Denver Broncos fan. He enjoying buying tools and worked on many projects both at work and at home.
Kido is survived by his wife, Ester Rios of Greeley; a daughter, Renee Hernandez and husband Nick of Dallas, Texas; a son, Joe Rios and wife Rosie of Greeley; his father, Domingo Rios, Sr. of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Esther Perez and husband Hector of Dallas, Texas, Elsie Borjas of Waxahachie, Texas and Estella Rivera and husband Nicholas of Dallas, Texas; four brothers, Danny Rios and wife Francis, Lupe Rios, Arthur “Tudy” Rios and Marcelino Rios all of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Kido is preceded in death by his son, Jason Rios on April 28, 2000, his mom, Erminia Rios and his brother-in-law, Pete Borjas.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
