Donald Jack Mackey

Mr. Mackey was born May 21, 1944 in Greeley, Colorado to Dr. Donald Ray and Ruth Luella Mackey. He was a lifelong resident of Greeley, Colorado.

Mr. Mackey graduated from Greeley High School in 1962 and attended Kemper Military School, University of Colorado and graduated from Parson’s College, Fairfield, Iowa. He served on the Board of Director’s for Kemper Military School for many years and spent the majority of his professional career in residential and commercial real estate.

He was an avid motorsports enthusiast and general fan of the combustible engine. He loved watching and talking about anything and everything related to car racing.

He is survived by his son, Donald Jack Mackey Jr; daughter in-law, India E. Mackey; brother, Dr. Lawrence R. Mackey; sister in-law, Sidnia Mackey; niece, Jill Mackey; and nephew, Bryan Mackey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Donald Ray Mackey and Ruth Luella Mackey.
