It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Donna Cook, who left us on 6/19/2025 at the age of 76, surrounded by her loving family in her final moments. She was a wonderful mother who was there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She will be remembered by her kindness, strength, sense of humor and her amazing outlook on life.
She leaves behind Daughter, Michelle and Son-in-law, Randy Sorensen; Granddaughter, Joanna and Husband, Eli Michalik; Grandson, Jerod Izzi; Great Granddaughter, Maddie Jo Michalik and Great Grandson, Carson Michalik. Also surviving are Sister, Sue Kent; Sisters and brothers-in-law; Carol and Mike, Darla and Jack; Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.
She was Preceded in death by her Husband, Salmo C. Cook; Parents,Ross and Betty Chaplin; Sister, Sharon Terry and Brother, Edward Chaplin.
Donna will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Donna’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
