Dora moved to Greeley in 1973 from Laredo to be with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of all the children in her life.
Dora is survived by her husband, Jose Garibay; daughter Rosa and Anthony Ortega; grandchildren Katherine and Joe Ybarra and Toni Ortega and fiancé Julian Rodriquez; great grandchildren Isaiah, Vincent, Jordan, Jose Jr., Nolan and Dallis; sister Eva Lopez all of Greeley; great niece Jessica Renee of Anchorage, Alaska and many others. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Marciana (Cruz) Longoria and one sister Ester Mata-Torres.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at Upper Room Ministries, 919 18th Avenue. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
