My wife Patti and I were saddened to hear about the death of your mom. The only way I know of this is a result of the Google search I just ran on your name! Your name, you'll be thrilled to know, came up tonight in a visit we had with Ronnie and Kay, whom we see quite regularly. Kay's son, his wife and young daughter are in town visiting from Little Rock. Unable to help myself, I retold the story about Ronnie and the sandwich he ""found"" behind the couch in the pool house and ate. Do you remember? If this makes it way to you, write back and say hello. Hope you are both well.

My memories of Nanny are the sweetest,It was obvious that being surrounded by her family brought her the greatest joy.She was full of love and laughter.I will always cherish the gumbo cooking lessons in her kitchen.I am greatful to have known such a fine lady-a true example of love. To my dear family and friends of Aunt Doris, 
It is with loving, fond memeories that I remember my Aunt Doris. She and my Uncle Red always treated me like a special person, even as a child. I was fortunate to have spent time at their house during summer vacations when I was young. Aunt Doris sewed new school clothes for me, taugh me how to make cajun dirty rice and gumbo, and gave me special ""little lady"" attention that I still treasure. She had a bright, sunny smile and contagious laugh that comes to mind when I think of her. Aunt Doris was a Southern lady in the truest sense. She loved hats and seldom left the house without one. What a cute little lady she was in her hats! Most of all I know how much family meant to Aunt Doris. She was a wonderful aunt, mother to her children, and devoted wife to my Uncle Red. She loved him unconditionally, and I know that they are together again loving and enjoying each other as they always did. God bless you Aunt Doris... thanks for the happy times.

To Bishop Lloyd Worley and his wife Maydeen, Edna and Roland Furstenfeld, Janet Rice, Kimberly Worley, Walter Christy, Patrick Christy, Carolyn Tolbird, Marion Gilley, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Family.   I hope the love of our Master Jesus will sustain you all during your period of temporary loss of your beloved Doris Worley.   I knew Doris but for a short time and she always had a genuine pleasant smile and warm greeting for me.   To know Doris is to love her. Edna....Myra forwarded your letter about losing your mother.  I am so sorry to hear this.  And the past year or so must have been very difficult for you.  
She sounds like a great mama.  She must have been -- to raise a wonderful girl like you.  I have enjoyed knowing you so very much.
Pull yourself together.  It is a difficult time right now.  Remember all the good things.  You will get through it, and your good memories will sustain you.
