Douglas Doss Bohn

Doug attended Platteville schools and graduated high school in 1982. He married Marie Riggins on July 10, 1993. They divorced and Marie passed away in April of 2021. They were blessed with a son, D.J, on March 8, 2003.

In 1986, Harold and Douglas started a roofing and remodeling business. Doug worked for the local oil companies as a truck driver for several years. Doug spent the last years attending gun shows, across multiple states, where he would sell salsa, jerky, and gun supplies under his name STIXS by D&J Distributors.

Doug is survived in life by his son, D.J Bohn, Aunt, Elsie Rahm, and numerous cousins.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and LaVerne Bohn, and brother, Russell Bohn.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 9:00 am at First United Methodist Church, 316 Elizabeth Ave, Platteville, CO 80651, followed by a service at 10:00 AM and a reception afterwards. Interment will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mizpah Cemetery, 12837 Co Rd 32, Platteville, CO 80651.
