Edelmira Cera de Gonzalez, 70, of Evans died Monday, December 5, 2011 at her home. She was born May 29, 1941 in Temeychic, Chihuahua, Mexico. She went to school in Mexico.
Edelmira married Guadalupe Gonzalez Castillo in April, 1959. She dedicated her life to being a catechism teacher and the Catholic Church. She always helped people in need.
She was a wonderful wife of 52 years and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe of Greeley; daughters, Siria Gonzalez of Texas, Maira Gonzalez of Berthoud, and Luz Maria Gonzalez of Evans; sons, Arnaldo Gonzalez of Greeley, Guadalupe Gonzalez and Luis Raul Gonzalez both of Longmont; sister, Elviria Cera and brothers, Manuel Cera and Hector Cera all of Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sons, 1 sister and 1 brother.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday followed by Recitation of the Rosary 7 p.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment Mexico.
