Edna Schneider

Edna L. Schneider, 92, of Greeley, passed away at Grace Pointe of Greeley on May 10, 2018. Edna was born November 13, 1925 in Eaton, CO to George and Elizabeth Weinmeister. She married Albert Schneider on March 9, 1947 in Greeley. Albert died in 1992.

Edna graduated from Eaton High School. After Edna and Albert married they lived in Greeley until 1958 when they moved to Longmont. In 1961 they moved to Colorado Springs and back to Greeley in 1992 where she lived until she passed away.

Edna worked for Edward Chevrolet in Greeley, where she met Albert. After that she became a stay at home mom. She was a member of the Shriners, the Al Kaly Shrine in Colorado Springs, the Elks Club and Masons through her husband’s involvement and affiliation.

Edna enjoyed working puzzles, planting flower gardens, and was a volunteer at Bonell Good Samaritan.

She is survived by her grandson, Dominic Mendoza.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her daughter Linda Mendoza and 8 siblings.

A graveside inurnment will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Linn Grove Cemetery.
