Edubijen “Vicki” Valencia, 51, of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley. Vicki was born on March 29, 1963 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Manuel G. and Tomasa (Hernandes) Colorado.

Vicki was raised in Carlsbad. She worked in the medical field. She married Miguel in Greeley. They were Catholic.

Family was the most important to Vicki. She was very outgoing and loved to joke around. She was a strong willed person and will be greatly missed.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Miguel; daughter, Julie Izquierdo; sons, Estevan Valancia and Andy Valencia; mother, Tomasa Colorado; sisters, Manuela (Jorge) Espinoza, Jessie Galvin, Yolanda (Brett) Smoker, Sandra (Hector) Garcia and Leticia Colorado; brothers, Jaime Colorado, Lorenzo Colorado and Oscar (Belinda) Colorado; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Raymond Nunez.

Visitation will be from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Thursday followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 5:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
