We just heard about Ed and wanted to express our heartfelt condolences to you and the rest of the family. We could see from your chronicles on riskwonder that you and Ed had quite the unique loving relationship. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I met Ed and Connie at the dentist's office.  I always looked forward to seeing them. Ed was always so friendly, he and Connie both.  My thoughts and prayers are with Connie and the family.

I'm sorry, we just heard of Ed's illness; too late.  He was a great guy - and you guys made a great couple.  I smile, still, at the ""spontaneity"" gracing the lampshade story.  I'm sure you will miss him terribly but you know where he is....

Ed,Tom Fellows,and I were always going places together. We had a lot of good times, especially sharing our first quart of Coors beer together out in the field where the Loveland golf course now stands. They called me blimpy and we both liked to eat. I will miss him.

I remember one time at Big Thompson, the PE coach (I think it might have been George Walbye) decided it would be a good idea to put the boxing gloves on Ed and me. (We were about the two biggest kids in the class)  I don't recall it being a lot of fun because Ed was a pretty tough kid.  I believe we called it a draw.
I am sorry to hear that he is gone.
