Eleanor Dora Garcia

Eleanor attended Greeley Central High School and later dedicated her working years to caring for others through her employment at Fair Acres Assisted Living.

Eleanor will be remembered with respect for the many roles she held within her family—as a sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother—each one carried with steadfast devotion and enduring love.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Bevin Archuleta and Bertha Moreno, and by her siblings, Katherine Otero, Victor Archuleta, and Gloria and Dolores Archuleta.

Eleanor is survived by her ex-husband, Michael Garcia; her children, Lorenzo Archuleta, James Archuleta, Michael Garcia (Nadine), Bernadette Battelo (Santos), and Veronica Arellano (Isidro); her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her siblings, Lorenzo Archuleta, Connie Martinez (Arturo), Charles Archuleta (Kim), Eduardo Archuleta, Mary Ann Salazar, Patricia Archuleta, Christina Archuleta, and Antonio Archuleta (Bea).

A service for Eleanor will be held on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 at 9:30 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church; 915 12th St, Greeley, CO 80631. A reception will follow.
