Ethan and I were very close in Scouts. I remember the times we spent camping, canoeing, working on out troop song, and much more. He was happy to do anything in the outdoors. Ethan was obedient but also intelligent and questioning; he taught me much about how to be a leader. I am grateful for his influence in our lives.

He taught us about the value and beauty of nature through the eyes of Davy Crockett, aka King of the Wild Frontier.  Perhaps Ethan was seeking a more eternal ""Wild Frontier"" than we, on Earth, could offer him.  May he rest in eternal peace.  My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Ethan and I went to school together from 1st grade to our senior year at Lyons and even had a class together at CSU. I can honestly say that he was a kind and warm-hearted person and the two of us never exchanged and ugly word. Please know that he will live on in the hearts of his classmates and friends forever. To the family:
My sophomore year, every morning, Alex Ryu and myself would sit in the Library and chat with Ethan. He was always really nice, and usually generally happy. We even stopped by and said congrats at his graduation party. That was two years ago, and now, to mark the date, graduation is happening again. I remember how kind and warm he always acted towards me, and i'm deeply saddened to hear of his sudden passing. I wish the best for all of you and will keep you and your family in my prayers. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that our wonderful, comforting God is with you during this sad time.
