From an early age, Felipe, lovingly known as "Vino", carried a spirit of adventure and a steady devotion to the things that made life meaningful—riding his bike, creating art through drawing, and finding joy in music. He met the world with courage and curiosity, always ready to join in, always willing to step forward, and never hesitant to bring a little laughter with him.
Those closest to Felipe knew a man whose kindness was not performative, but constant—someone who would give the shirt off his back, share his last dollar with you, who put others first, and who remained attentive to the needs of the people around him. He never judged a soul. His generosity and compassion were matched by a patient, thoughtful presence that made others feel at home and at peace. A loyal friend and a hardworking man, Felipe was also a steady source of guidance—offering advice with sincerity, and serving as a role model through the quiet strength of his selflessness.
Felipe was born to Pablo Luna and Rosemary Martinez in Greeley, Colorado on August 8th, 1979.
He is survived by his three children, Angelo, Adrian, and Eyanna; his loving parents, Pablo and Rosemary; his siblings, Maria Isabel Luna, Victoria (Ezekiel) Luna, Daniel (Samantha) Martinez, Veronica Montes, Jose R (RaeAnne) Vargas, Jesus Vargas, Adriana Vargas, and Marcos Vargas; and many nieces and nephews who looked up to him and loved him unconditionally.
A service for Felipe will be held on Saturday, November 14th at Stoddard Funeral Home in Greeley, CO. Visitation will begin at 9am, with recitation of the rosary to begin at 10am. A service will follow.
