Forrest Lawrence Olk, 83, of Greeley, Colorado passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Fairacres Manor. He was born September 19, 1937 in Pontiac, Michigan to Lawrence Gordon and Edith Elizabeth (Beam) Olk.
In the 1960s, Forrest owned five VW Bugs shops in Boulder. In the 1970s, he worked as a Boulder County Sheriff. He later worked many security jobs until he became a manager of a mobile home park.
On June 26, 1976, Forrest married Sheri Bush, They were together until she passed away on November 24, 2018. He and Sheri were 1st Responders for Cherryville Fire Department in Boulder.
Forrest loved fishing, especially catfishing. In his younger years he loved bowling, camping and riding motorcycles.
Forrest is survived by his sister, Bev Brown; daughter, Michelle Canter; sons, Timothy Michael, Daniel Adam, John Paul, Matthew Mark, Joshua Gordon, David and Brian Olk and numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and two brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
