Frank graduated from Greeley West High School in 1982. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 29 years as a Systems New Construction Foreman, where he traveled all over the United States. Even after he retired, he never stopped working. He never stopped wanting to help everyone he could, in every way he could. He completely enjoyed doing for others.
On April 28, 2017, Frank married his best friend and love of his life, Phyllis Benavidez. They enjoyed every moment of their short married life together. When not at home, they were fishing or out enjoying time with their friends. Frank also loved his in-laws, Pauline and Art Benavidez (a.k.a. Maw and Paw). Last but not forgotten, his brother-in-law, Art Benavidez, who got to listen to every one of his many stories.
Frank had a smile that never ended and a true heart of gold, which was evident in the many, many friends he had. His hospitality included everyone who crossed his path. He always shared food, drink and laughter with everyone.
Frank loved going hunting and fishing with his brothers and his best friend, Joe Flores. He also loved going fishing with his wife every summer. He could keep your complete attention with the stories he would share. Frank loved his kids with all his heart. He used to say, “He was the All American Dad”. He was the best dad to all three of his kids. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers, sister and all of his family as much as he could. Family was extremely important to him.
Frank’s presence will never be forgotten and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
