Fred Molina, 60, of Greeley passed away after battling cancer on April 21, 2018 at his home in Greeley. He was born November 13, 1957 in Crosbyton, Texas to Fred and Anita Molina. He moved with his family to Walsh, Colorado where he attended school and worked for local farmers during high school. He then worked for Panhandle Eastern Gas Company.
He married Jana Lea Thompson on April 28, 1979 in Walsh Colorado. After marriage, his career took them to Hugoton, Kansas, then to Dumas, Texas, and finally to Greeley in 1990, retiring from Anadarko Oil Company in 2014.
He enjoyed working on projects, including his home, yard, and 1986 Jeep Laredo. He was known for his fun-loving personality, willingness to help others, welcoming nature, and his love for all the furry friends brought into the family.
He is survived by his wife Jana, son Jarett Molina, daughter Taryn Molina, mother in-law Phyllis Thompson, sisters Angie Molina and Molly Hutches, brother Joe (Sharon) Molina, and granddaughter Jaylee Molina. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Alice, Adela, and Ayda.
Celebration of Life will be held at Stoddard Funeral Home on Friday, May 4th at 2:00 PM.
