Linda and I were so sorry to hear about Georgia.  We had the privilege to be able to visit her at Life Care and even when she was in the hospital.  She had such a sharp mind and quick wit, and we always were blessed to have been able to visit her.  Our condolences go out to all in her family and we will continue to pray that God will grant you His peace during this time.

We were very sad to hear about the passing of Georgia. There are so many
memories from our teaching days at
South Valley Middle School. We worked together on school projects, fixed food
for teacher's luncheons (I still use some of Georgia's recipes)shared rides
back and forth to school and supported each other through good times and bad.
One of our fondest memories was a trip
to Hawaii with the Valley High School Band. Georgia and I walked and walked
shopping one afternoon, and John and Rene' rented a car and drove around all afternoon! They had the nerve to ask us if we were tired! We had planned
to attend the funeral, but the weather
did not cooperate. At this age, falling
on ice would not be fun.  Our thoughts
and prayers are with all of you.

A lovely lady and friend with so many interests and a positive view of life!  Sorry to miss her service due to weather.

I was sad to hear about your mom passing away.  The weather is not allowing me to attend her services.  

I have many fond memories of both your mom and dad.  Your dad made my first grilled cheese sandwich made in a pan with lots of butter.  Your mom was a wonderful piano teacher and I still enjoy playing.  I remember going to your house after school to have my piano lesson and while waiting for my turn, Melinda would make snacks for us...sometimes it was a frozen hot dog.  Mrs. Morgan would tell me that she was going to talk to my mom because she could tell I was not practicing AND she did.  

I will have memories of your mom that will continue to make me laugh and smile.

Lonnie,Phil, Melinda and families,  We were sorry to learn of Georgia's passing.  Your Mother and Father were two of our first and dearest friends when we first moved to Re-1.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I, Jim Keefer, enjoyed knowing Georgia -- from a number of angles:  As floor- mate (3rd) in the Bonell Tower (704 22nd St.) where Aurelia and I were in 305 and she 301?.  Enhanced, of course, in that she was a member of our church (then First Presbyterian, now Cornerstone Community).  In latter years as she, with me, enjoyed working on Crossword Puzzles as a group in the Tower lounge.  And her love of music (and the Broncos!) fit my/our interests.  A fine and interesting lady to know.  My quite firm plans to attend the memorial/funeral service have been thwarted by the snow still falling and scary road-reports -- sorry!  She'll be missed; but by God's grace she's joined the many honoring her/our Savior, Jesus.

Georgia was such a good teacher because she believed in the kids and inspired them to stretch their boundaries.  She had such a great sense of humor and was always willing to make time for you, and when you talked she truly listened. She always treated me and my son with fairness, dignity, and respect.  My memories of her and her shenanigans are priceless.

Sorry to hear of Georgia's passing.  Although we didn't get together often, I have fond memories of the times when we were able to get together.  My condolences to the family.  Shirley Anderson

I have such good memories of the years when your family lived next door in Platteville to my Grandmother Marie as you kids and I were growing up.  Your Mom was very good to Grandma and kept a watchful eye on her.

And, of course, I remember your Mom being a Sunday school teacher, playing the piano and being very active in our little Methodist Church along with my Mom and many other stalwart women of our community.

My sympathy and warm regards to all of you.
