I knew Gloria in Fairhaven  She was my step-sister and I did love her. Im sorry I lost contact with her but she has a family that loves her so very much and I give them my condolences from my heart...

To my dear family... it has taken me until now to know what to say and even now I am still at a loss for words. I will forever remember Gloria as a loving wife, a loving mother, a truly compassionate, generous, and kind friend. She saw in people their potential and believed in them when they did not believe in themselves. She was good at encouraging others to reach for more than what they thought they deserved. When I think of her, I see her the twinkle in her eyes, the smile on her face and think of how lovely it will be to see her in all her youthful beauty in paradise. I love you all. You will always be in my thoughts ,prayers, and heart.

My deepest sympathy is extended to all of you during this time.  Seeing Gloria when we return home to Fairhaven has always been a highlight of the reunion time for me.  John, I don't know if you remember, but Gloria was the first (non Sacred Hearts Academy) friend I made when we entered the High School.  I cherished her friendship, warmth and exuberance.  We spent many happy hours in the stands at football games  with the Pep Squad.  Gloria's beauty was real; her love of people and life were genuine and infectious. 
She will be sorely missed.  May your deep faith

I was introduced to Gloria by her daughter, Sarah. They came in my family jewelry store to look at jewelry!  I didn't realize in front of me stood a true creator of jewelry!  The ribbon pendant she designed is BEAUTIFUL!! When she and Sarah came in the store, I sensed a calm, loving spirit :) As I read her guestbook, I see I was correct!  While I am very sorry for the familys loss, I am so excited for Gloria!  I have read that Home is a wonderful, glorious place...a place she so richly deserves!  She has a new job now! We just returned from vacation and learned of Gloria's death through Nicolette Bascom.  We've known the Bryans for 32 years since our days in the South Boulder Congregation in Colorado.  We felt honored when Gloria entrusted her eldest child, Sarah, who was approximately four years old, in our care while she worked during the day.  When another spiritual sister died, Judy Mahaska, Gloria was by her side offering comfort and hope through the scriptures.  Gloria offered herself to others no matter what the distance.  We missed them when they moved to Ft. Collins, away from the Boulder area.  We were happy when we heard that Gloria may have beaten breast cancer; then saddened to hear she had lost the battle.  We send our love and support to the Bryan family as we look forward, with joy, to welcoming her back to a Paradise earth were there will no longer be any sorrow or pain.  Agape

Today, I heard that Gloria fell asleep in death.  I am sorry for your loss.  It has been many years since I have seen your family. One time that sticks out in my head was in the mid-eighties when you let us hang at your apartment unannounced, while John, you fixed our car so we could get back on our way to the assembly in El Paso, TX.  Gloria was not at all ruffled by our being in the way for a long day.  I will always remember Gloria's pleasant, upbeat voice.  From the guestbook, it is obvious that any who had the opportunity to spend time with Gloria enjoyed her immensely.  May you find comfort from our God Jehovah in the days that come, looking forward to seeing Gloria's smiling face in paradise.

To Gloria's family: We are so sorry for your loss and want you to know that you are in our hearts and prayers.  May Jehovah's spirit comfort and strengthen you in this time of sadness.

Gloria's pain and suffering are over.  When she is resurrected back to the earth, to Gloria it will be as only a second of time went by.  Satan can not cause her ill health or pain ever again.  Gloria will be in Jehovah's new world under our King Jesus Christ's leadership.  We in the meantime are the ones suffering and missing Gloria's beautiful smile, bubbly personality, and love.  In order to be in Jehovahs God's new system we need to concentrate on focusing on Jehovah.  Jehovah will help us carry our burdens during these rough days ahead.  Pslams 55:22.  Please do not miss any meetings.  These are our lifeline now.  Even if you do not know what is being said in your grief, you are where people love you and Jehovah' holy spirit is there.  In time you will be able to focus on what is being said.  We need to continue to fortify ourselves as Satan will continue to try to side tract us from serving Jehovah.  We are deep in the time of the end and see the Great Tribulation on the horizon.  This is the time when we need to ""lift our heads because our deliverance is near.""  Luke 21:28  We can look forward to getting things ready for Gloria, Vic and Dale to be resurrected.  We can have resurrection receptions then.  We love all of you. I had the privilege of getting to know Gloria through work at Centre Avenue Health and Rehab.  Never in my life have I known a more generous, beautiful and giving person.  Gloria was the glue that held the Nursing staff together in many difficult situations, yet she never lost her warm and caring attitude no matter how bad the situation.  My heart and sympathies go out to her family, whom I never had the honor of meeting.  I know she loved and adored each of you.  Her eyes always sparkled more brilliantly when she spoke of you.  
She fought the good fight and now her journey is ended and she has earned her reward.  She is in the arms of our loving Father, is at peace and out of pain.  
I know she will be looking out for all her family and friends as we complete our journeys and can one day be reunited with her.

I never met Gloria in person, however I knew her through my daughter, Laura Aubert, who knew her personally through work.  We had sent emails to coworkers asking for donations for Himalayan Goji Juice to assist Gloria in her fight against cancer.  This set up a chain of emails to people who did not know her, but were certainly glad to send juice and to pray for her.  These people have regularly asked me in person and through emails how she was doing.  Our email chain stretched all the way to Canada.  I kept them informed by forwarding Gloria's emails.  
She was a wonderful inspiration to us all.  She was so connected to her world and family through her loving spirit.  She was always so positive.  She was a true example of not only how to live, but also how to die and move on to the next world. 
I want Gloria's family to know how sad we are to hear of her departure, but also how glad we are to have known her through her emails.  I will never forget her.  Know that you are in my prayers and thoughts.

Im Gloria's cousin. Our mothers were sisters.  I'm Kathy Crites sister.  Gloria and I were only a week apart in age.  Aunt Marie has been forwarding notes updating me on Gloria.  I have some fond memories of playing together when we were young at family gatherings.  I know she will be missed and has given me inspiration for a positive outlook in my life.  I wish we had not lived so far apart.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

John, I never had the opportunity to meet you but know you were a dear best friend and husband to Gloria.  I am Gloria's cousin.  Our mothers were sisters.  I met Sara when Aunt Louise passed on, but don't remember Emily well.  Aunt Marie has been sending notes to the family for some months and it gave me the opportunity to really know Gloria and her family.  Since we lived so far apart, we didn't have the opportunity to be close through the years. Her notes also gave me a sense of Gloria's deep faith and love for her family.  I know she will be missed so much.  She set the bar high and continued to reach for it, living every day as fully as possible.  I wish  you the strength to go on living with her watching over you and your children and grandchildren from heaven.  My prayers are with you and the family in this time of sorrow.

The last time I talked to Gloria , she said she was at peace.Her face showed she was, and now the pain is gone from her body and she will live peaceable in Heaven. God Bless you Gloria and your family.

My deepest sympathies to Gloria's family.  I have been friends with Gloria since our days at Fairhaven High School.  We enjoyed the good times at our class re-unions and continued our long distance friendship thru e-visits.  Gloria's courage and positive attitude was inspirational. Gloria, I will miss you. Though I am sad at her passing, it brings me joy to have known Gloria for the 14 years that our children have been married. Gloria and I shared a bond not only with our children but with our 3 beautiful grandchildren as well. They loved her very much and I am so happy that she was able to spend a few final days with them, sharing that love.

Our love and condolence to all of Gloria's family. Her courage and positive outlook during her extended illness was an inspiration to us all. We know her dear mother Louise, our sister, received her in heaven, and even now holds her in a loving embrace.

My deepest sympathy to Gloria's family.  Gloria and I were friends at Fairhaven High and enjoyed remembering all our good times at class reunions.  I also had breast cancer and was lucky enough to reconnect with Gloria through email.  Her messages were always uplifting and inspirational with far more concern for me than herself.  Gloria touched so many lives and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
