Gordon Kindred

Gordon O. Kindred passed away at the age of 90, at his home surrounded by his family on April 24th 2020. He was born February 3, 1930 in Greeley Colorado, to Gordon B. and Evelyn Kindred. He graduated from Greely Central High School in 1948. He then joined the Navy and served in the Korean War aboard the USS Missouri. On November 18th, he married Darlene Tharp in Loveland, CO. They had two sons, Keith and Paul. He worked for Kodak of Windsor for 20 years, retiring in 1995. He spent his retirement in his wood shop, going to McDonald's for coffee with his friends, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Darlene, of 65 years, his sons Keith (Sandy), Paul (Tracy), grandsons, Joey and Jordan, granddaughter Kayla, great grandchildren Ada and Elijah, brothers Larry (Lorraine) of Loveland, and Gary of Creed, CO. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and brother. There will be a private cremation service at a later date with family.
