I was very sad to hear about Greg. I was the Faculty Assistant at Bill Reed Middle School and enjoyed working with Greg.  We often ate lunch together, and it was always a laughter filled time. Greg helped make the work place an enjoyable place to be.  He will be greatly missed.  My sympathies to all his family.  Sue Muscott

I just read Greg's obituary and had no idea he had passed away.  Betty and Gene were dear friends and I am so saddened by the families loss.  I extend my deepest sympathy to the entire family..you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Chris,  I didn't learn of Greg's illness until last week.  I am truly sorry for you and the boys, young men by now.  We fully intended to come to the service, however, on our way to Grand Junction to visit Susan's family Ed had chest pain so we stopped to get it checked.  He received a new stent last Monday, so we were not able to come.  I have so many memories of Greg, mostly funny.  As in, one time we were driving to a convention, I told him I had stepped on some gum.  He whirled around and said ""Did you take off your shoe?""  He loved his cars.  He was so stalwart in his beliefs, would do anything for a student that would try, and had such a great laugh.  I am glad for the time you had after the two of you retired.  He was a true friend, an excellent colleague, and I am grieving too.  Oh, he was ornery.  So good at making cracks in faculty meetings.  I am glad I knew him and was able to teach with him.

He was a wonderful caring man. We chuckle at how he lovingly helped Robin up onto your deck and built a ramp to make it easier for her as she aged.

Hi Matt, Chris and Chris,
Every time I think about Hud I see that huge, happy smile.  He was so quick to share his smile with everyone.  You were very lucky to have a Dad who loved you and cared about you so much.  I can still hear how he bragged about you to me.  Seemed like his eyes were twinkling with excitement and pride when Matt and Amelia were married.  
A man like Hud will be missed by so many.  Though I do believe he is with you every minute wanting to take your sadness away.

Chris and family, I am so sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I had the honor of working with him for several years at Bill Reed. He was a man of strong convictions, he was unwavering in is commitment to the education of the children, and he was a wonderful, supporting colleague. I learned much about what it took to be a person of substance from Greg. May you find comfort in God's loving embrace. May you find peace in God's unwavering love.

I am so sadden by the passing of my old buddy Hud. We had so many great times together. He was a good man. I am happy that we were able to talk to each other the past year, it meant alot to me. I am glad he will have no more pain. Bones and I went to Mansfield with Greg to watch him sign up for the Army and he was leaving in 120 days. Bones and I just happen to sign up also and we were leaving in 2 wks. Greg got a real good laugh at us! You will be missed Hud. God bless your family.

Chris, I'm so sorry to hear this news.  I truly enjoyed my years of teaching with Greg!  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was sorry to hear of Greg's untimely passing.  Greg and I coached Matt and Chris in soccer for a few years.  Greg was a fine man who loved his boys and was respected by all who were lucky enough to know him.
