Back in the '80's, Pink and Cody lived in my apartment complex in Phoenix. I used to spend a lot of time with them. Pink was always so kind to me. I was only 11 years old at the time; Cody was a few years older than me but I think Pink was ready to add me to the family. He was a character and I think of both of them often.   

Pink, I'll sure miss our visits and laughs. I'm sure glad we ran into one another again a few years back.  What a coincidence that was!  It had been quite a few years since we went to some rodeos together. I had more fun going with you than anyone I ever traveled with.  Thanks for the fun times.  God Bless You!

I have lots of memories of Pink and your family.  My husband Don and I lived next to the family in the 60's in Kersey Colorado.  He was a wonderful person and my kids remember him fondly.  We will all be thinking of you during this time.  Wilma Doney and family.

I am going to miss my Uncle Pink.He was a real good man and I loved him very much.He always helped my out even when I was really screwing up.I will surley miss him.Boys I send my deepest sympathy and I know you are going to miss your dad very much..I know you boys were so close to him and I'm truly sorry.I love you all

I will miss Pink very much. He was a good friend. We enjoyed many rodeos together. When I go now I will know he is up there watching over all the contestants. Cody, Troy, Lance and Travis remember in your hour of need he is still there for you and can hear all your thoughts. Talk to him when you need to he will hear. My prayers are with all of you. I wish I could be there with all of you today.

I will miss you Papa Pink.  Thank You for helping my mother and grandmother(Beverly) raise me to the women I am today. You always remained family and were there for my triumphs and defeats in life. I will forever carry you in my heart!

Pink Peterson was an outstanding college cowboy.  In 1964, he was the NIRA All-Around Champion, Champion Bareback rider,second in Saddle Bronc Riding and was instrumental in Casper College winning the Team Championship.  The next year he was All-Around Champion again and the Champion Saddle Bronc Rider and once again Casper College took home the team trophy.  The NIRA Alumni honored Pink and we will miss him. On behalf of the Alumni and our president, Stan Harter, we send our deepest condolences to Pink's family.

So long old pard, it's been fun knowing you for the past 40 years or so.  You always had a smile on your face and something funny to say.  Dang good bronc rider and a friend.  I will see you again some day up over the Great Divide.

I was only in the family a short time, and Pink was always good to me.  So sorry to hear of his death.  May God bless the family in this hour of grief.

Our condolences to Cynthia Ross and the family of ""Pink"". We only knew Pink a short time but we enjoyed very much being around him and Cindy when we came to visit. We also could feel his love and joy and passion for life. He will be missed greatly.Trish and Jack Smith

He will be missed by all who were so lucky to have knowen and loved him. A true friend and gentleman he could light up a room with his smile. No matter where we went he knew someone and had only good things to say about all he knew. He loved his sons more than life the same with he grandkids. My prayers and thought go out to you all.  He is missed but he is now up there in Cowboy Heaven and will not be forgotten!

Pink was my best friend, partner and love of my life. It is so hard to wake up every morning not having his company over a cup of coffee and deciding what projects to tackle that day. There was no kinder more thoughtful person when it came to animals or people. I will so deeply miss him!

Cody,Troy,Lance and Travis my prayers and thoughts go out to you and your families. Pink will be missed but he will be in heaven looking down with a smile and laughfter.
