Harriett Jean “Mimi” Anderson, 79, of Greeley, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at Northern Colorado Medical Center. Harriett was born August 27, 1939 to Hattie (Nix) and William Johnson. She lived her entire life in the Eaton/Greeley area. Harriett graduated from Eaton High School in 1957. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Anderson, on December 19, 1958. Harriett was a proud farmer’s wife and worked side by side with Gary on the farm.
Harriett was kind-hearted and loving to all her friends and family. Nothing was more important to her than spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life, and she enjoyed attending all of their school and sporting events. Harriett was a member of Chapter AB P.E.O. in Eaton for sixty years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Valerie (Bob) Dunn and Tammy (Dick) Lawhead; grandchildren, Ashley Dunn (fiancé John Glaubke), Jordan (Taylor) Dunn, Danielle Lawhead, and Ryan Lawhead. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her sister, Marjorie Kinsey, and two brothers, Bill and Ted Johnson.
A special thanks to all of her caregivers who showed kindness and compassion over the last few years.
A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 A.M. with a visitation prior starting at 8:30 A.M., Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Eaton Community Church, 1550 Benjamin Dr., Eaton, CO 80615. Interment will be at the Eaton Cemetery.

Was sadden to hear about your mother/Mimi's passing. Harriett and I worked together at Dr. Laber's. She had the sweetest giggle. She would always bring her curling iron so I could do her hair. It saddens me to hear that Harriet has passed. I really enjoyed her company, her lovely smile, and her sense of humor. I am so blessed to have been able to know her and call her Old Lady. My condolences and prayers to your family!
