

Harvey L. Furnell of Evans died Friday, July 1st, 2011 as a result of a motorcycle accident near Gunnison, Colorado. He was born February 14th, 1952 in Nagpur, India to Algernon and Joyce Estelle (Fowler) Furnell. At the age of 9, they moved to London, England where he continued his education and graduated. When he was 18 years old, he came to the United States, settling in Azusa, California. He met Linda Fox and they started their life together, in 1977. They had three children. The family moved to Nebraska in 1997, following the death of his wife.
Harvey was extremely dedicated and hardworking. He lived for his kids and grandkids, them being a huge part of him. He moved to Evans in 2003 and has lived here since.
He was a member of Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club and Union Pipefitters.
He is survived by his daughters Karen Conley of Tennessee, Stacey Furnell of Greeley; son Patrick Furnell of Greeley; four grandchildren, Delaney Conley, Darby Conley, Shealynn Furnell-Hunter, and Davin Furnell; sisters Leslie “Nanny” Gable of Virginia and Auntie Patricia Fairlie of London, England; also survived by many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Linda Furnell who died December 25, 1995.
