Harvey L. Scott, 87, passed away September 13, 2016. He was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Homer and Edna (Harrington) Scott. He graduated from Greeley High School in 1949 and married Juanita Hackleman July 9, 1949 at the First Christian Church in Greeley.
Harvey had his own business under Scott Masonry Inc. for 47 years. He was always involved in his son’s activities as they were growing up, serving in Cub Scouts and youth group at church. The family attended the First Evangelical Free Church during these years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, water skiing and traveling with friends and family.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Juanita, sons Rick, Bill (Linda), 4 grandchildren Dustin, Anthony, Jim, Kelly (Todd) Raisley and 5 great grandchildren, 1 brother Wendell (Noyola) of Albuquerque, New Mexico and many nieces and nephews.
Harvey was preceeded in death by his parents, 4 sisters Eula, Velda, Ellen and Dorothy and two brothers Clinton and Irvin, 1 granddaughter Heather (Scott) Muro.
Celebration of Life Service to be held Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Christian Congregational Church, 716 16th Street, Greeley.
