We are very sorry for your loss. We still remember when Ian first visited our house and played with our children. He was very kind to them when they spoke very little English. We know that Ian's kindness will pass on.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ian's passing.  I had the privilege of growing up with him in the South Bay and attending elementary, junior high and some of high school with Ian.  My heart goes out to his family.  Ian will always be remembered.

I went to elementary, middle, and part of high school with Ian.  My heart goes out to his wife and family.  Hearing the news of Ian's passing is truly saddening.  He was a great guy.

Sorry to hear about Ian.  I graduated from Hibbing High as well.  I wonder if Ian was related to my cousin Mark White of Redwood City, California and Sparks, Nevada as of now?  I try to get back to Hibbing every so often, and I will ask those that I still know if they knew Ian.  Such a young fellow to pass away.  A shame for sure.  Pat White

I have to admit the news of Ian's passing was a great shock to me. When I heard I was flooded with fond memories of sitting in math class with Ian snickering to each other about how none of this made sense and how we could be doing other things right now. Ian always had a smile on his face and I will never forget him. I am very sorry for your loss, Ian was a great person and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Every memory I have of Ian I hear his infectious laugh and always see a smile on his face. Watching him play guitar hero, starting a new song before anyone else got a chance. And the turkey leg at the stock show that turned out to not be so good. He had such an amazing energy about him and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was the discharge planning nurse who helped facilitate Ian's transfer to University Hospital from MCR. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. God Bless your family.
